About
I moved to Banff National Park in 2016
First the village of Lake Louise for four years, and now the town of Banff since. I came to the mountains as “a skier,” but what I didn’t know is how much more I would learn to enjoy the summers here than the winters. My first hike ever was to the hoodoos in Yoho National Park, and after that I was hooked. Since then I’ve stood on many mountain summits, and travelled through some of The Rockies’ most remote backcountry.
I’ve always had an interest in photography but it never really took off until I moved to the mountains. It started as me just taking photos along the way on my adventures, to nowadays my adventures almost always being dedicated to the photos themselves. I’m privileged to live in a place that has amazing photo opportunities right off the road, but what I’m after is showing the rarely seen side of the Canadian Rockies, the natural forces and the amazing wildlife that coexists alongside the millions of visitors that visit these mountains each year.
