Winter in the Rockies’ is for the snow specialists. Two animals that thrive in the winter are the wolf and the Canadian Lynx. I’ve spent every weekend this winter out on the search for both species and I’m happy to say I’ve been successful with both, though they live in completely different habitats within the park. Images in the winter are much harder to come by, these animals are incredibly weary of humans, and they are simply so much better at moving through the landscape than I am. It’s hard to put into words the effort that went in to these shots.
